A signed and framed print of Harewood House in West Yorkshire. Printed on 500gsm Photo Rag paper. Harewood House is a country house located in Harewood, West Yorkshire and was built in the 18th century. Nowadays, it hosts a celebration of art collections, a range of events and is a hub of activity for local people. I remember visiting Harewood House twice as a child with primary school – both of which visits were art-related. During the first visit, we learned about rainforest artist, Tony Foster, and back at school created a whole project dedicated to his work. The second visit was to see the work of installation artist, Ron O’Donnell, who inspired us to create our own installation in the grounds of Harewood House. My school friends today are baffled that I can remember so much about the artists and the trips – I guess it shows what impact they had on me.
