Crackle varnish – Bottle 80 ml – Water-based – For authentic vintage/Shabby chic surface finish – Results in surfaces with a cracked appearance – Suitable for acrylic paints [including metallic ones] – Suitable for indoor use – Suitable for outdoor use if sealed with a protective varnish – Intended for surfaces such as wood, papier-mâché, MDF plastics, cardstock, terracotta, ceramics, canvas, stone. Its application: Stir well before use. We recommend using two acrylic paints to produce optimal contrast. A metallic colour can also be considered for the lower paint layer, but not for the upper paint layer. Prime the surface with the first colour and let it dry thoroughly. The background colour will only be visible at the end in the cracked areas. Spread the crackle varnish evenly and richly, let it dry briefly and then spread the second colour.
